Vince Peterson's epic arrangement of the Queen classic "Somebody to Love" is a much-loved staple of the American choral music landscape. Commissioned, premiered, and recorded by Chanticleer on their album "Someone New" in 2012, this piece has brought houses down all over the world. The construction of the arrangement adds material to fill in the "instrumental" gaps in a rhythmically charged way with an addictive motive on the words "can somebody" which repeats throughout. The work is designed to prevent the need for a single soloist having to sing the high solo on multiple performances.
